In Beauty, Like the Night

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Fuck.

I need a new job.

We brought back an old and slightly modified design and a brand new design for our collection of loaded shows this summer.
We will keep you updated on when they will become available online.

Now we get to be a real band and have five shirt options at our merch table (which will make up for the fact that we don’t currently have any physical copies of our music hahahaha).
I’m also hoping we’ll have hoodies and longsleeves in time for the fall this year as well (our hoodie being designed by a certain New Jersey friend).

About to watch the Polish d-beat/crust band Government Flu play in my basement. I love living here.

Our next show will be on May 3rd with our friends in The Banner alongside The Mongoloids, Old Wounds, Sawchuk and Dredd. We don’t need to tell you how much of a mistake it would be to miss this one. Come see all these bands wreak utter havoc in a basement, Detroit.
Also, first thirty people at the door get a screenprinted version of the flyer. That’s cool, right?

I am without the ability to describe such torment.
The asp, the pariah, I am now to suffer for my transgressions,
their discontent felt in every lash, every burning,
condemning word spat in my wounds.

Stripped bare, with humility and chagrin,
I am to languish in this personal hell,
to aggregate into a single icon
of all their dissent, to endure their judgment
and the harshness of its bitter truth.

Blows that know only malicious intent
fail to desist, driving iron that makes home of my wrists.
I ascend in agony towards the heavens I will never reach,
this tattered and broken temple displayed only as a mockery
of that which I once had been.

Suspended breathless from the height of the cross,
I am denied my name,
only a single word inscribed crudely
into my trembling breast;
“traitor”.

The character interaction and relationships in the game are amazing. Bioware’s Dragon Age and Mass Effect series, at the end of the day, are my all time favorite video games. Nerd status revoked, I’m sure.

Fucking trendy faux-nerds.

Fucking trendy faux-nerds.

I need to fill this hole in my heart that has now been left by finishing the Mass Effect series and the depression brought on with the emotional severity of the ending.

Fuck.
