Desperately in need of an actress for a short involving the torturing of a pedophile.
Im pretty sure I walk past a lot more cops than that
In case any if you were wondering (and none of you were), the film I’ve been working in this month is Batman Vs. Superman. Seeing that now on my resume is unreal.
Fenix Tx, Threesome
For my last post and because I’m lying in bed alone right now.
God damn this song is great.
When you and your significant other are interested in bringing a third person into the bedroom, but have no idea how to safely (or in a non-awkward fashion) approach someone to inquire about their interest…
The Traitor and SSS dates are finally coming together. We’ve confirmed dates at The Pharmacy in Philadelphia on December 13th and The Smiling Moose in Pittsburgh on December 14th. All I have to do is lock in the Cleveland date and we’ll be sitting pretty.
This is really not okay.
I think some people fail to realize that men can be sexually assaulted, too, and not just by other men. This girl shoves him against the wall and slaps him three fucking times when he pushes her away. Heck, he has to push her away twice before she backs off for a moment. Then she goes right back to kissing him.
If the genders were reversed, everyone on this site would be flipping a shit. And if anyone dares to tell me that it’s different when a girl does it to a guy, I will personally write you a three-page essay on why it is still not okay.
I’m just going to REBLOG this all the fucking time
I SWEAR I WILL ALWAYS REBLOG THIS.
Pretending that women cannot sexually assault men invalidates the notion that they just as strong or human as men. Obviously men attacking women is immensely more common, but to pretend that they are unable to implies that they are a weaker sex, unable to harm or wrong the other, and therefore, unequal.
My name during the end credits of Listen Up Phillip.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen my name in a feature that had legitimate funding, actors, and distribution (and was also a Sundance official selection). It feels awesome.
The eleventh film in my marathon was 1982’s Madman.
This film was strange in that it had such extremes of highs and lows. To start with the positives, this film had moments of utter creepiness with cinematography that was very ahead of its time. On the surface, yes, this is a Halloween/Friday the 13th rip, but the supernatural elements and the beginning of the film just somehow feel different from all of its predecessors. There are some genuinely creepy moments in this film (for example, the introductory shot of Madman Mars watching the campers from the trees is the stuff nightmares are made of) that make this film worthy of at least a single viewing.
On the other hand, the overall story seems to drag unnecessarily in certain portions and the performances are very inconsistent. I wasn’t a fan of the ending either (which felt like a result of a rushed production). Also, this film has one of the strangest and most awkward sex scenes I’ve seen in a horror film (next to Nightbeast). If you ever watch this, you’ll see the hot tub scene with its strange blend cuts and odd use of 70s feel good rock and you’ll know what I mean.
Madman is definitely a fun, hidden gem from the golden age of slashers that doesn’t pretend to be anything else and because of that, it’s at least deserving of a single viewing.
I’m thinking of purchasing a web domain and starting a horror movie review site. I have so many friends on here interested in the subject that I figure it would be easy to start branching out and finding supporters.
